São Paulo City Ballet

Set by two contrasting songs composed at different times by the Estonian Arvo Part, "Abrupto." Portrays the moment of a catharsis - when we act by an irrational impulse - and the unfolding that occurs immediately after this event - the state of exhaustion, liberation, and enlargement of consciousness of what has just occurred.

Abrupto.  is the second creation of Alex Soares for São Paulo City Ballet.
